چکیده

The explosive growth of the Internet, the widespread use of WWW-related applications, and the increased reliance on client-server architectures places interesting new demands on network servers. In particular, the operating system running on such systems needs to manage the machine's resources in a manner that maximizes and maintains throughput under conditions of extreme load. We propose a new network subsystem architecture that promises increased throughput and stable behavior under high network load. The architecture is hardware independent and does not degrade network latency or bandwidth under light load conditions.

An Evaluation of Architectures for IMS Based Video Conferencing

The IP Multimedia Subsystem is an architectural framework for delivering multimedia services over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. Originally, it was specified for wireless networks, but has since evolved to incorporate fixed line access as well. It forms part of a Next Generation Network (NGN) which is defined as a packet-based network where the service functionality is independent of the un...

Presence in the IP multimedia subsystem

With an ever increasing penetration of Internet Protocol (IP) technologies, the wireless industry is evolving the mobile core network towards all-IP network. The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a standardised Next Generation Network (NGN) architectural framework defined by the 3 Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) to bridge the gap between circuit-switched and packet-switched networks and co...

Machine-To-Supervisory Communication Framework based on OPC Unified Architecture

The requirements on machine integration grew continuously over the last decades. Due to the variety of fieldbus standards and the complexity of a heterogeneous field device landscape this resulted in high implementation efforts for the application. This paper describes a conceptual framework for machine-to-supervisory communication done via protocol independent OPC UA objects integrating sercos...

Design and Implementation to Intelligent Examination System for e-Business Application Operation

This paper presents a design and implementation of an intelligent testing system for checking the e-business application operation capable of the examinees. A novel architecture for on-line examination system is proposed. That system adopts the common client-server pattern with two major parts, the client component also called Student site and the application-oriented server component here also...
